Position Description:
A Reliable Engineer is required for the farm with Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience in technical operations to Establish and maintain mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to support Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) metrics for key pieces of equipment. To ensure employee safety, provide environmental security, product quality, and cost effectiveness

Job Responsibilities:
Participate in safety and environmental initiatives - contributing to overall employee and community safety while ensuring compliance of state and federal regulations
Establish and maintain mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs to support Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) metrics for key pieces of equipment.
Ensure employee safety, provide environmental security,product quality, and cost effectiveness
Other primary duties include: ownership of the plant's Pm/PdM activities; leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical guidance and coaching of mechanical craftsmen; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects
Develop and establish maintenance & operational procedures based on regulatory directives, manufactures specifications, and industry best practices to support on-going reliability improvements
Perform capital project engineering work from design to implementation in accordance with organizational policies
 
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum. Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
5 years of experience in technical operations.
Experience with Six Sigma desired.
Certification a plus
Preventive/Predictive Maintenance including vibration analysis, oil analysis and engine compression analysis.
Due to export compliance, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Experience with Mechanical Integrity and equipment Reliability programs
Experience in any of the following industries or processes a plus: advanced materials, aerospace, high temperature process, coating applications, processes involving milling/grinding, particle sizing.
Strong written and oral communication skills - able to transcend level and function
Strong people skills and be able to coach, mentor, and influence others
